Job description
As a Sheet Metal Worker at Ironis, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, installing, and repairing products made from thin metal sheets. You will work from blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to cut, bend, shape, and join metal parts with precision. The role requires strong attention to detail, proficiency with metalworking tools and machinery, and adherence to safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
- Measure, cut, and bend sheet metal to required dimensions.
- Operate shears, presses, rollers, and other fabrication equipment.
- Assemble components using welding, riveting, or other fastening methods.
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Maintain tools and work area in a safe and organized manner.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in sheet metal fabrication or a related trade.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Knowledge of safety protocols in a workshop environment.
- Physical stamina for standing, bending, and lifting materials.
